Amazingly Retro: CLICK Keypad Watch

A "retro-tech" watch by CLICK watches that resembles a keyboard's numeric pad. Each key has an embedded LED and when you press any number the current time will light up. For example, in the video, when I press the button 1-2-3-9 lights up, indicating that it is 12:39. There is also a 24-hour/military time mode you can activate. By pressing the # key, the date is shown in the same fashion (in this case 0-4-2-9, or April 29th). I got mine from Watchismo, here, where quite a few colors/varieties are available for purchase. There are even new summer colors that look kinda like ice cream flavors, I totally wanna take a bite out of the orange one!

New-ish Room Pics 新たなる撮影

Pics from the last few months of the old domicile and the awesomeness contained within. And yes, those are wallscrolls hanging on my ceiling. ;) (ceilingscrolls?)

Nendoroid Ikaros そらのおとしものねんどろいど イカロス

Ikaros has an awesome hair/face combo, and is capable of pretty much the coolest pose (the pose I have her in, in the pics) ever for a Nendo - at least in my opinion.

I had an incredibly difficult time posing her, her wings kept falling down out of her back whenever I tried to position her bow and arrow. Since I took these pics, I've moved the wings up a bit so they look more "aloft".

I don't have her displayed with Nymph simply because, although they have the same motif as far as clothes and such, they seem differently designed somehow...

Revoltech Takeya Series No.001 Tamonten リボルテックタケヤ 第一弾 多聞天

Part of the Revoltech series, these are the brainchild of Takayuki Takeya (and, well, Buddhism) who is quite a prolific sculptor of everything from garage kits to things like tokusatsu/sfx.

Tamonten, also known as Bishamonten, is one of the guardians of the Buddha and Buddhist sacred teaching grounds as well as one of the Seven Gods of Good Luck (Shichifukujin).

These are being rereleased in monochrome versions so as to match the real statues around Buddhist temples in Japan.

Monster Hunter Straps モンハンストラップ

Got all four of these at once.

I actually use the lanyard one for my car keys, the Airou ones and the meat icon one are on my shelf dedicated to Airou.

The meat icon strap is printed on and cut from reflective material.

Fullmetal Alchemist Rubber Strap Collection Vol.1, 2 & 3 鋼の錬金術師 ラバーストラップコレクション Vol.1, 2 & 3

The massive amount of cast members in Fullmetal Alchemist is illuminated by these three sets, and even with the number of straps in all 3, some characters aren't even in the mix. (Like Lust)

Dude from the newest FMA movie looks like Michael Jackson in Captain EO.

I've now gotten so many of these, I had to dedicate an entire section of wall to them. This also includes Naruto: Shippuden and Gyakuten Saiban (Phoenix Wright) straps by the same company/designer.
